Weight stall on Tirz —Should I stack it with something or up the dose?
Post Body

Hey everyone! I’ve been on tirz since July, constantly loosing 1-1.5lb every week and slowly upping the dose.

My food noise disappeared for the first time in my life! I had no idea there even is such thing as a food noise… Appetite suppression is great, but I moved up hoping that the 5mg “therapeutic dose” would help me break a weight stall I’ve been in. Unfortunately, it hasn’t worked out that way—3 weeks on 5mg, still no weight loss, and this past week I even gained 1.5 pounds… While I need to lose 35-40 more pounds. I probably should just keep going and wait, but you know how annoying it feels, so I started looking for other options.

I’m wondering, should I try stacking tirz with something else or just increase the tirz dose? From what I know, tirz mainly works by suppressing appetite, and not increasing metabolism/burning fat. Right now, I can barely eat as is (which is great!), so I’m not sure going higher would make sense.

Here’s what I’m considering for stacking:

• Retatrutide – supposedly helps with burning calories and overall • Tesamorelin – known for fat burning • Cagrilintide – I see it stacked with semaglutide a lot, but some people use it with tirz too

Any thoughts or experience with stacking tirz, or any other suggestions? Would love to hear if anyone’s has tips for using tirz with something/transitioning from tirz to different peptides. Thanks!
