BPC and TB injection post op questions

I suffered a bucket handle tear in the lateral meniscus (as well as mcl partial tear and lcl sprain). I will be going into surgery and want to do everything I can to improve the quality and time of the recovery. I decided to take BPC 157 and TB 500 for this but I have some questions.

  1. Injection: local vs systemic I’ve heard mixed things about systemic vs local. I’m leaning more toward it being systemic but I figured it won’t do anything but help if I inject local, how do you guys feel about local vs systemic?

  2. Local site If it was to be a local injection for the lateral meniscus where should I inject? I’ve heard just to pinch skin and inject around the LCL, also heard VMO and VL. I’ve heard to inject into the lateral side of the patella tendon where there is a pocket but will an insulin needle be deep enough?

  3. How long after surgery should I wait to inject. Is there a certain timeline? Just wait until swelling is down? Does swelling change the effectiveness at all?
