I posted yesterday asking if there was an AA group specifically focused on LGBTQ plus individuals in the area. I really didn’t get much information as far as there being a group out in the Pensacola area, like what I was describing.
I’m including a link that walks through what it takes to have a need for a group, believe it or not it’s easier than it seems.
My next questions are who might be interested in joining such a group here in Pensacola. Obviously the group would include non-gay people, but the focus would be to provide a safe place for folks within the gay community who suffer from addiction issues. If you are interested in learning more, my DM‘s are open. Send me a message and we can talk through it.
I’m nowhere near an expert in the world of AA, but I do have a need to attend meetings and a desire to heIp people. If you have any questions, let me know.
