According to the information I received, IST is a STEM degree. However, I am wondering if I will be eligible for a 3-year (1 2) work permit / OPT after I finish my 4 year undergrad course, like CS graduates are. If any current IST international students know the specifics of it, please share, it would really be helpful.
I'm an aspiring CS undergard student from India who will be joining in Fall 2023. I'm wondering whether an IST major would suit me. I'm passionate about CS, but I'm also curious about IST and how it compares to CS.
