Issue with declaring my major

The credit window to declare my major is 29-55. I am at 32 credits currently so I tried to declare my major. I got an error message that said "Units: 29.00 required, 15.00 taken, 14.00 needed" which is not accurate. Does anyone else have this issue and how can I resolve it?
