This handsome fellow is the Italian-made Tibaldi Bononia in the Pearl Mist colorway. It has a smooth broad steel nib. Brand new today, just inked once with Waterman Black, no staining or microscratching.
Verification, writing sample, and gallery.
The material is a pale ice-grey spaghetti resin shot through with charcoal, with beautiful depth and chattoyance throughout. Palladium (silver in color) furniture. It's not a plain-jane black pen, but it is elegant and understated enough for an office setting. Subtle but with plenty of character!
It was a reliable writer straight out of the box, no skipping or hard starts, with medium wetness. It's a very modest broad, more like a medium by my lights, which is why it's a catch-and-release for me. I received it this afternoon, and it was only out of the box for an hour or so.
Comes with all original packaging including 24-month warranty card, converter, and cartridges (one or two? Not sure, it's an opaque package and I haven't opened it.)
This lovely pen retails for $295 and can be found on sale for $235. I am asking $200 with CONUS shipping included (shipping to elsewhere can be arranged but I will have to quote a price based on where you are.)
