I was recently recommended Headache In The Pelvis and found this community after suffering from occasional bouts of super bad frequent urination (I'm talking every 15 minutes when I'm going through a bout. Reading the book also helped put a name to the slight perineum pain I sometime experience.
As of right now I am doing a series of stretches and doing the moment to moment relaxations. I also already go to therapy and do a decent job of managing stress / anxiety.
However, the book (and a lot of testimonials I see) make a big push about the power of the Interal trigger Points. I am not sure I have the money right now to afford a pelvic physical therapist right now, and dont feel comfortable buying a contraption to go rummage around down there untrained. (Also to be honest, I am a little squeemish about the whole thing). Will I be able to see success (especially given the relatively tame nature of my issues) without going down that road, or is it considered essential?
