What’s next? How can I get back to working out?

Hi,

After 2 years of dealing with PFD, and specifically after 5 months struggling to manage a flare up caused by “working out too much” I can say I’m finally back on track (for the 2nd time) to feeling almost 90% good.

I’ve done a mix of things to get where I am today:

  • Diet control (mainly cut off bread, pizza, beer, corn and sodas)
  • Supplements (saw palmetto, magnesium)
  • Pelvic Floor Therapy (internal both with an expert and home)
  • Completely stopped working out

Now… I wonder what’s next or what are other things I can continue to do to get better? Diet, supplements and therapy are still in full effect.

I’d like to go back to working out but I’m truly afraid of having a relapse… I’ve been told to do low impact sports, such as swimming, but I personally like going to the gym.

Any recommendations on both what could be a good step on my healing journey and how to get back to working out?
