Hypertonic Pelvic Floor, Anterior Pelvic Tilt, and Walking?

Is there a relationship between a hypertonic pelvic floor and anterior pelvic tilt?

I’ve battled a hypertonic pelvic floor for years now, but now I’m also now suffering from anterior pelvic tilt.

My physician suggested I get a treadmill, as he claimed that walking was the best thing I could do on a daily basis to correct the tilt.

After 30 days of 60-90 minutes of walking a day with an incline, there has been a marked improvement in the back pain I was suffering because of the tilt.

But, at the same time, my hypertonic pelvic floor isn’t bugging me quite as much.

If all these things are connected, what is the problem muscle group?

I’m on a wait list for PT and a medical clinic specializing in pelvic and bladder issues. It’s been a long wait so far.
