I used the standing desk height for majority of my work day today because sitting just aggravates my pelvic floor which affects my mood and work. I stood for 6 out of 8 hours with walking within the office multiple times to keep it moving. By the end of the day my glutes/side hips/hams/ankles/feet are on fire… my hip flexors still felt a bit tight like they try to pull me anteriorly and my core muscles are only slightly fatigued though I did not engage them much while standing. I guess that’s not the best thing but in terms of pelvic floor, is this good thing my pelvic floor isn’t compensating and my hip flexors are not being shortened? By burning I do not mean nerve, I mean like muscle fatigued, but if it could be nerve related I’d love to hear more as the fatigue was near the piriformis muscle. Curious to hear everyone’s thoughts.
