Hey everyone! This is quickly becoming my new favorite community on Reddit lol. Also, y’all are so friendly and wholesome here; I love it!! =)
I’m starting a PB&J business based out of AL (Birmingham to be specific). What I aim to do is to make nut butters and fruit jams/jellies to the highest quality that physics itself can allow for. This requires specialized equipment and just makes the process that much more cool imo. =P
Some disclosure: because this is a fledgling business and because profit percentages must be as high as possible for now, I have to stick to making sandwiches instead of just making and selling jars of the product(s) itself.
But there’s a silver lining. 😉
While I won’t be full-on selling just jars until I can move up to the commercial classification (right now, as a cottage vendor, I can’t sell across state lines), I can totally ship across state lines without charging for the product. I would only ask for shipping, making the “transaction” no different from a friend-to-friend kinda thing.
You can call yourselves “Beta Tasters” 😋
Here is the Instagram for the business:

If you happen to be in the Birmingham area, then keep a special lookout on that Instagram page as well as my Reddit page for updates on where and when you’d be able to try the sandwiches themselves. There will be 36 different flavor combinations to choose from (6 butters x 6 jams/jellies) as well as drinks and side options.
Thank you all again for your encouragement and support of this endeavor of mine. It’s a daunting process starting a business, but it’s more so exciting than anything! 😊
Special thanks to these fine folk:
