The best websites you would want to look at are more than just one, when buying parts you need to look broad and precise.
- eBay
- Gumtree
- Temu
eBay is a great place to buy parts, you can get so many discounts on newer motherboards and on ram and basically everything, and you can do that by contacting the seller and not offering, because if you offer you will run out of offers.
Gumtree is another great website/app, they have millions of things to choose from and there are already some sellers in every single area of the UK selling RTX 3060’s for less, saving £100’s.
Temu is probably a minimal website, but it has a very large impact, reason being it saves you so much money on peripherals and additionals. For example, SATA cables and thermal paste can cost you £15 on eBay, but on Temu, it’s only £5, it may seem little, but over time in the computer industry it would’ve probably saved you £100’s.
But you’re probably wondering, what about if I wanted a computer that has DDR4 tech but at the price of £200? If not £100? Well, on Gumtree tons of people sell DDR4 bundles just for £100, on eBay you could spend £50 getting half the parts, it’s just all about patience and your brain, the more specific you are and organised then the easier this is, make sure to spend lots of time looking at components, since they all play a massive part in computer making.
