Hi! Like the title says this is my first PC build and I have done my fair share of research but just wanted to clear up a few things.

(Note: Was given the SSD for free. I would be fine with increasing spending up to 2100 CAD.)

  1. This CPU cooler seemed to be good for the price point. Though I have read conflicting posts and videos on how good it actually is. Should I stick with it or what alternatives should I use. Also, pcpartpicker notes that a mounting bracket may be needed. Where can I find it?

  2. With Ram there seems to be so many options at marginally differing price points for what seems to be the same specs. Should I stick with this Ram or go with something else.

  3. The output of the system is only 424 W but I have decided to go with 750 w power supply. I did this for 2 reasons: In case of future proofing and also giving it albeit, a lot of headroom. Should I downgrade or should I stick with this power supply.

  4. I paired this system with a 1440 p Monitor. Should this system handle 1440 p gaming or should I downgrade to a 1080p monitor.

  5. Any other general comments you have about my build.

Thanks! Any feedback is appreciated!
