Post Body

Hey! First time poster, first time solo builder.

I'd asked my computer savvy friends to help me pick out a list of parts to upgrade my PC and they arrived earlier in the week, they include:

AMD Ryzen 5 5600 6-Core

AMD RX 6600-XT Gaming OC 8gb

Corsair CX-M 750w power supply

I had parts from previous build that a friend had put together for me that my friends had said could be carried over to this new one, they are:

Gigabyte GA-B450M H

G.SKILL Ripjaws V DDR4 3200 C16 2x8GB

Samsung 970 Evo Plus NVMe PCIe M.2 500GB

So I went about putting this new build together with instructions from my friend via messenger as he's moved away (hence why I'm doing this solo) and the build process was fine, was able to successfully boot and all that but there have been some very noticeable issues in terms of FPS in games. I currently have installed Fortnite, Skyrim, Risk of Rain 2 and Warzone (no particular reason, just what I had) and they all seem to he capped at 60fps and suffer from some pretty fat dips every few seconds.

I've gone through and DDU'd and put on new drivers, hasn't helped, tinkered with the radeon software and that hasn't seemed to change anything.

Apologies if this is lacking information, im not very good with computers I just want to be able to go pew pew without issues.

Please let me know if there's any information I can provide! Thanks
