New motherboard problems

Post Body

I recently replaced my motherboard and processor. Whenever I boot up, there’s a problem with windows starting up - some kind of error and what not. I’ve looked into it, and basically all I’ve found is that I need to reinstall windows since the motherboard is a different bios or whatever.

However, I have over 2Tb of data on my hard drives and I’m concerned that a fresh windows install will wipe everything from those. Has anyone ever had any experience with this?

Edit: I have no idea what I did, but I got windows to just boot up. I enabled legacy boot and my other drives had everything on them - no new windows install at all
