So I just picked up a PC from a friend.they built it a few years ago. I tried plugging it in and turning it on but nothing happens.

What could cause this? I don't know much about pc parts and specs, so let me know what information you need and I'll try to provide pictures and descriptions.

I'm thinking it's an issue with the power supply but I don't know how to confirm this.

Edit: I just noticed that when I plug in the power cable and flip the switch in the back of the PC, the fan on the power source spins a little and then stops. It looks like I have a "hx750i". Does it need time to charge before working or something?
