Performance hit to GPU from upgrading second monitor?

Post Body

Hello all, so I've been looking into upgrading to an OLED monitor for gaming. I have two 27" monitors on my desk (can't really fit anything bigger) - the main monitor is a 1440p 165Hz IPS display from LG, and the second monitor, which is strictly used for web browsing, YouTube/Twitch, Discord, etc. and not gaming, is a 1080p 144Hz IPS Asus display.

Ideally, I'd like to switch the main 1440p IPS monitor for a new 1440p OLED display, probably 240Hz, and then move the 1440p IPS to the second monitor slot. My concern is that the increased resolution of the second monitor should theoretically affect my GPU's performance negatively - but hopefully not by too much?

I've read that upgrading the resolution (in this case from 1080p to 1440p) of a second monitor that is strictly displaying 2D stuff should be negligible, but if anyone has experienced this and has some real feedback that would be much appreciated!
