Post Body

Hello, I'm currently running an i5-2400 with a generic motherboard that I can't find much information on. from what I can tell it is a P8H61-M LX3 plus R2.0 LGA1155 motherboard with a model number in the bios of zx-h61cm version:1.2. It's bios version registers as American Megatrends Inc. version 2.15.1236. Date 11-13-17. its very hard to find any information on this board.

I'm wondering what it would take to move from the sandy bridge i5-2400 to the ivy bridge i7-3770k. Will I have to update or run a different bios setup and if so I would I go about that with this unbranded motherboard. Any information helps.
