Hi everyone

I recently started my first pc build. I bought the Ryzen 5 5600x and everytime I want to start my pc the red light "boot" on my B550 Tomahawk motherboard starts lighting.

I did some research and I think the problem is that the BIOS version is too old. I would like to update the BIOS now using a USB-stick and the update BIOS button on the motherboard.

My question: I already connected everything to the motherboard. Can I leave everything installed or do I have to unplug all components (cpu cpu-cooler as well)?
