Finally built a better rig (been years since I’ve had the pleasure of building one instead of an off-the-shelf). I’m building off the AMD set, using a TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI) motherboard. For the moment, I moved over a 1tb SSD with Windows 10 from my prior pc, and am looking at the Sabrent 2TB Rocket NVMe 4.0 Gen4 PCIe M.2 Internal SSD Extreme Performance Solid State Drive (maybe 2, with a RAID setup). My question, do I need to buy the SSD with the heat sync, or does the motherboard have that covered already? I’m assuming I ought to get the heat sync...
TL;DR: does my TUF gaming motherboard cover the cooling for the m.2 slots, or do I get the heat sync with the new drive(s)?
