I'm confused

So I'm building my first PC. I'm told my motherboard has integrated graphics but when I plug my monitor in, there's no video feed. It's plugged through the HDMI port and all I can think is either I was lied to, or something is wrong. Anybody help? Pic attached on what it currently looks like.
