Ok this one is wild, I've never seen anything like it. I don't even know where to start. So I built a new PC in February, I unplugged my old one and set it to the side everything worked completely fine. It's a little dated but nothing was wrong with it. Fast forward eight months and I want to sell this PC to my friend for super cheap. I boot it up and instead of seeing my usual bios splash screen I'm met with a weird 4 line text. Press F11 for boot options etc. PC continues to boot, windows logo and instead of a welcome screen I just get a plain old blank black screen. I mess around a while and discover if I try to enter bios, black screen. Gpu is obviously not broken but I don't know where my output is going. So I remove my gpu and plug in straight to the integrated graphics. Boots up beautifully and clean and I can enter bios. Plug in gpu and black screens no matter what I do. Remind you the gpu works. I'm seeing post screens and windows loading logos. Any help?
