Need help under locking i12900k

Hi, So I just bought this 12900k and it hits 100c seconds into cinebench I want to underclock it so it can perform cooler. I know you have to decrease the core voltage mode by 0.05 or something. Do I also have to adjust the cpu gt voltage. I appreciate any help! (Using fuma scythe 3 cooler)
