Like the title says Im thinking of upgrading the system I built 10 years ago. It has and continues to work exceptionally well but the specs are falling behind for some of the new titles coming out.
This is what I currently have:
Quad core AMD athlon running at 4ghz
16gb of 2400 DDR3
GeForce GTX 760 with 4gb vram
Im looking at either a 5800x3d or 7600x
The 7600x I was gonna pair up with 32 gb of ddr5 and a RX 6750XT gpu
I can save a bit on the motherboard and ram going with the 5800x3d and spend the extra on a slightly better gpu.
But is it worth it to go AM4 to get that better gpu?
