Worth buying?

Thinking about buying this PC for the prime day deal ($999.99). One of my friends sais it's a good value and I should buy it. The other sais that it's not worth the money.
I should add that I don't know much about PCs and I don't have a lot of interest in trying to build my own. But I am willing to spend a couple hundred on upgrades and replace a few parts.
Any advice for or against buying this will be very helpful. Thanks!
