So I've been involved in the one piece community for 7 years. I have watched the anime in its entirety and read almost 70% of the manga. Yes, One Piece is really fucking long and honestly, that's why I love it. I love diving into worlds with hundreds to thousands of hours of content. When I was in high school, I would come home, make a snack and watch one piece for hours until I fell asleep at 2 am. Is one piece TOO long? Yes and that is a valid reason to not want to watch/read one piece. But I think genuinely bashing on one piece, and I think wubby is doing it as a bit, solely because of how long it is is a bad take. If you want to put in the time investment to get one piece, you have to read it now. I will fully admit it is not viable to put in the time to WATCH all of one piece, even without the filler. But with One Piece entering the final saga, the lore resolutions that have been dangling for hundreds of chapters are extremely satisfying to someone like me. Does that make me deranged? I don't think so, but I am also not one to let other people's opinion impact my experience of something I enjoy.
