The ending to that first half is honestly inexcusable from every angle. That should get any coach fired.

If you didn’t see it, a quick recap: Maye got injured, we got the ball back with 1:40 left in the half with two timeouts down 6 points. We ran two run plays and then a QB sneak on third down where Brissett gets wrecked by multiple defenders.

Why would you not try scoring? It’s a divisional game. We’re only down 6.

If you didn’t want to score and thought we needed to go to the locker room to scheme a new game plan, why not just kneel the ball?? Jets had no timeouts.

Why in the fuck would you call a QB sneak on 3rd and 1 if you were already committed to not scoring and taking it to the half?? If we got the first down, what were we gonna do? Run the ball again?

Just completely baffling decisions all around and a lack of game awareness. I don’t understand how any of our coaches still have their jobs.
