Is the Pity power system removed?

Lost to a 2.5 star adv today before the first boss(damn porobots with elusive), but when I tried again there was no "pity" power aka the extra mana , draw 2 or the other one I forgot that one.
Im just curious why not
I m not relying in those too much but was unsure why
