Is there any RAW/FAQ reason a nonhumanoid couldn't cast Alter Self to disguise themself as a person?
Post Body

Alter Self, for reference, is a polymorph effect with a range of personal and a target of you. It transforms the caster into a Small or Medium humanoid.

It's obviously written on the assumption that it'll generally be cast by Small and Medium humanoids pretending to be other Small and Medium humanoids, but is there any reason a giant (a Large, Huge, or Gargantuan humanoid) or even a dragon or fiend couldn't cast it, assuming the form of a humanoid?
