Not sure if many of you were aware or not, but the Sha'ir is an archetype of Occultist and man, it seems like a lot of fun. It looks very close to the old school 2e sha'ir which I think many people would appreciate.

You get a jin whom you can transform into a small elemenal familiar with the elemental special abilities. Each jin serves as your implement coming with a school of magic an elemental school(air,fire,water, earth). You can have 3 jins at the end of the game.

Anyway with 3 jins school magic 3 elemental school (well only the spell list) what kind of combo are you thinking? Evocation school with the choices of elemental school seems like an unnecessary choice since most of the elemental spell list are mostly evocation.

The trade of is you don't get resonant powers, so essentially only the spell lists matter for the Sha'ir.
