I ran the module Carnival of Tears as a Halloween two-shot (originally intended to be a one-shot) and the players are very attached to their characters so we're thinking of running a campaign. The problem: I don't like running homebrew plots and every Adventure Path starts at 1st level, while Carnival of Tears is at 5th level. The players aren't interested in devolving their characters to 1st, so I was wondering if there were any APs where we could jump in at 5th level, generally somewhere in the second book, and make the narrative work as intended.
They're also in Falcon's Hollow but I can adjust plots and locations easily enough to make that work (they want to leave Falcon's Hollow anyway), I just want to make sure I'm not bastardizing the narrative and gameplay design by rewriting and compressing the first 4-5 levels.
