Mallander's Insult... just how invisible?

I have the sword version, buffing up for a fight (1st time using it,) and clicked the toggle under Abilities for it. Combat log shows it activated... yet I do not see anything about it, anywhere. Hover over damage/attack values in the Inventory char sheet, hover over the weapon in hand, etc. I can see all the other buffs applied, but nothing about the unholy fire 3d6 for the Insult. Is this normal, bugged? I figure my only other thing to check will be going into combat and seeing if it shows when the dice roll.
