I am gonna play a game with the Free Archetype option and I wanted to make a Magus build that resembles a Magical Samurai.
So I need advice on two things: The first being weapon options, should I go for Katanas and the Inexorable Iron build? Or perhaps with Laughing Shadow? Is there a weapon you would recommend that looks good for a Samurai and has good traits?
The second and most important, Archetype and Future building ideas. I haven't found one that gives me what I want. Or perhaps haven't found the Feats or Options I would like to support this Magical Samurai. I want support to attacks, something like actions that would make the following attack better or flairs that support my Spellstrikes. I was thinking of Swashbuckler but it supports the "one hand free" and "dex" builds way too much, when I might wanna hold my weapons with two hands, specially if I go for a Katana and Inexorable Iron. Should I revisit that idea? Fighters as well have too many feats that make their own attacks and I didn't find something that makes my next attack better. Is there anything on the fighter repertoire? I wouldn't like other Spellcasting classes, tbh. So if you have any archetype, not necessarily a multiclass one, that you think might work close to what I intend, do share.
I would love something like a feat for 1 action, next attack deals an extra 'this much' damage, or free action with a roll, next attack has a better chance to hit, or reactions or whatever that support next strikes?
Thanks a lot.
