I've got plenty of player experience since this edition came out, and in terms of that I'm fairly certain I can direct them during session 0 on how to be more efficient in combat, utilize their third action effectively, etc.
I'm converting Strange Aeons to 2e. So far it's been relatively easy, 2e's tools are extensive and comprehensive and user friendly for the most part, and I've joined a discord server that does conversions for extra help if I need it.
I've DMed PF1e before, and think I did a pretty good job. I'm no Spielberg but my players had fun, and that's what matters.
So I ask you all...am I missing something? What's your biggest bit of advice for running this edition? Are there any common DM pitfalls that I should know about that aren't as noticeable as a player? Are there any uncommon tricks I might not have heard about that will give me an edge in making the game fun for my players? I'm pretty nervous, as I love the parts of Strange Aeons that I've played and want to do it justice for my friends. Your help is greatly appreciated
