I'm looking to run Pale Mountain tomorrow (someone else ran the first playtest one-shot), and I noticed something really odd.
Normally initiative is Perception. Makes sense. But if you're aware beforehand and can attempt ambush, you use Stealth, even if it's worse than Perception. You don't have the option to use Perception. This is weird; even if an ambush doesn't go well and you tip off the targets, you shouldn't be at a disadvantage relative to attacking openly. Is there errata for this that I've missed?
