So I have been more and more aware of a group who dislikes the unrestricted Free Archetype ruleset, due to a perception that most people use it for a few combat-centric archetypes rather than the flavor that people tend to say it promotes (such as Rogue/Champion/Psychic/Medic/Acrobat/Sentinel being especially common). I do think this group might be more common on, say, the PF2 Discord than here.
For those who dislike Free Archetype, what are your thoughts on Free Dedication, allowing a bonus Class Feat for *specifically* a dedication, but any further investment in it requires actually using your class feats for it? Would that lead to people leaning more towards the flavor-heavy/niche archetypes?
