So I'm reading over the Tian Xia world guide - absolutely fantastic book, cannot recommend enough - and I think I've stumbled upon something that implies that Golarion's sun rises in the West and sets in the East?
On page 179, when discussing the end of the day in Quain, it reads "As the sun dips toward the Golden River..." But on just the previous page, the map of Quain clearly shows that the Golden River runs along the Eastern border, with the Wall of Heaven making up the Western border.
Is this line just being used to mean that the sun is getting lower in the sky? Is this a mistake, like the other instances I've encountered in this book of East and West getting mixed up (Tang Mai is described as being Southwest of Po Li on page 170 despite clearly being to the Southeast, and on page 124, it says that Lingshen's Western border "ends with the Sea of Ghosts," but that sea borders the Eastern side of the country)? Or is this indicating that Golarion rotates in the opposite direction that Earth does, something that I've so far been unable to find any other reference to online?
Apply for a job with Paizo. They are clearly missing out on your attention to detail haha 😘😜
