I have heard this game does pretty well in making each class feel like it specializes in something that it does better than any other class, and in my experience that has been pretty accurate. For some classes it's pretty obvious what they're best with, such as bards getting some single action buffs/debuffs that make other similar (and normally strong) actions like guidance or demoralize look bad in comparison. For other classes it's a bit hard to see their specialization. Martial characters tend to blend together to me for instance. Each of them is good at dealing damage in their own unique way, but the end goal for a lot of them is still just damage. Some of them seem to have a niche they fill, such as barbarians having some abilities that let them deal with crowds (like a few AoE options), or champions having great abilities to support and protect allies. But if you asked me what a sorcerer could do uniquely better than another magic user, or what an investigator can do better than a rogue, I wouldn't really have an answer. So I wanted to get any opinions people might have on the topic, because my knowledge of some classes is limited. What do your favorite classes specialize in?
