RAW Counter Performance ends Inspire Courage

So...I've seen no one talk about this so I'll bring it up.
By RAW, if you cast a composition spell, then any previous composition spells end. And counter performance is a composition spell. So if you cast counter performance as a reaction, it immediately ends any inspire courage, inspire defense, etc. that you have ongoing.
Full disclosure: I think that's stupid and makes bards want to use that focus spell LESS, so I house rule that away at my tables when I can. That said...still RAW. Even in the Remaster
