I've mentioned a few times on the Discord my quest to make the "bounciest" character in PF2, based on the Unbreakable Goblin heritage. I ended up deciding that the best way to build them is as a Gymnast Swashbuckler, which is all fine and good.
But then the joke evolved, and I now want them to have been a bouncer at a nightclub in their pre-adventuring days, and I feel like brass knuckles or gauntlets would be the best way to represent that. And, luckily, gauntlets are agile, so they work with Swashbuckler features! But, unfortunately, they're not finesse. And there comes the problem, are gauntlets just mechanically worse than bare hands with a monk dedication? And how should I build the ability scores?
(For thematics, I'm imagining the character would take Oozemorph dedication for maximum bounce, but if they ever actually see play, that might not actually end up happening depending on how the game goes. As such, I'd like to try and stay in-class for now)
