Hey all βΊοΈ currently at the beginning of our Patagonian Backpacking Trip. We've been here 3 weeks and spread our time across Puerto Madryn / Peninsula Valdes, Bariloche, and El Bolson. We're trying to decide where to go next.
Puerto Madryn was epic. We really like Bolson too, Bariloche whilst pretty, was a bit too touristic for us.
We will be making our way south to Calafate, Chalten, Ushuaia etc. (I'm preparing myself for lots of tourists like myself but the nature looks too incredible to miss). But first, we're trying to decide whether to make a stop in Esquel or another more northern place before going heading south. We've got plenty of time but our budget for Argentina is getting a bit squeezed so unless there is something really unique in Esquel or somewhere else we're happy to skip and head south.
I wanted to consult Reddits expertise first!
TIA
