I'm mixed race. My father is Pashtun (Pakistani), my Mother is English, but I consider myself Irish (I have been here since I was 2).
Whilst I know a lot about my Ireland, and its history (it's what I am studying at University). I have very little knowledge about Pakistan, or Pashtun people.
My Pashto is extremely weak as my Dad is too ill to speak it at the moment. So I feel like I'm losing a lot of my culture, and would like to 're-connect' over the Summer, especially when I have a break to do so.
Any recommendations for books/history of the Pashtun (Afghan or Pakistani) people?
