I have a music reaction channel and have focused on K-pop recently as the fanbases are very engaging. However, I want to keep the channel open to all genres. The problem is that I’m not sure this is something the algorithm is going to like. I’m starting to notice the videos I do on western pop, hip hop, or metal, are not performing as well.
So my question is, if your content covers a broad range of tastes, like music or movies, have you been pidgeonholed into a certain genre? Should I make a new channel for every genre? I’d love to hear your solution if you ran into this issue.
I’m also open to any feedback you’d like to provide on my content, and I’m happy to return the favor (just ask).
