Does YouTube still use keywords from your title and description

Post Body

I've been hearing some rumors that YouTube no longer uses your tags your title or your description to figure out who to show the video to, that they might actually just be listening to what you say during the video to decide what audience to share the video with

Anybody know if there's any truth to this? With all the AI stuff out there now I guess I could see how maybe they would have an AI thing that listens to your video but I have a hard time believing that your title and description don't matter anymore as far as keywords go.

I think it depends too, are you trying to get search traffic (tutorials, reviews) or recommendation traffic(almost anything else) for the latter i don’t think it really matters now.
