This is specifically for the gaming niche but I guess it could apply to the whole range of niches across Youtube. Does your competitor's success relative to yours get you down?
My competitors post videos regarding the same topics and games as I do, and even though the quality of the videos are comparable and I post my videos significantly sooner than theirs, it seems that Youtube seems to push my competitor's videos more than mine and they soon overtake me in views even though I got the jumpstart.
It is a tad discouraging and I am just wondering if anyone else has dealt with the sort of situation?
