Hey friends, so my Instagram and YouTube channels are growing and based on my researches they finally would allow me to charge more than I used to. The only problem is that I companies can't meet my budget request more and more often.
I was happy to get paid as little as 100 usd when I started out but it's not the case anymore, and most brands say to me they have 500 or sometimes in best cases 1000 usd budget for a project with me and sometimes it would barely cover my hourly rate (depending on the project obviously). I don't want to sell myself for cheap, I want to grow in my life and all and I don't want to work for bare minimum just because brands are not paying. I have this feeling that this is going to get harder and harder. My channels are about classical guitar music and educational content, small niche but growing steadily, and I cover general guitar related content too from time to time.
Currently I don't accept anything that makes me feel undervalued but I was wondering if anyone has this feeling. How do you aproach this?
Sorry for the rant and thanks for reading
