I’m I too old to start?

I’m 19 this month and have always been into parkour without ever actually doing it. Last year when I was 17 me and 2 of my friends starting trying to learn but all the locations where we live are either dog sh*t or really good for experienced people. We learnt a dodgy cat pass and that’s about as far as we got. I want to do it again and take it seriously but I’m 19 now and reckon It’d be weird starting cause all the pros started when they were like 13-15.
