How to make texts still accessible for my father

My father (64yo) has recently been diagnosed with PD and PPA (which could evolve into AD, but we could still hope it wouldn't).
He's been a lawyer all his life and he would love to still have access to the work he spent so many years on. Trouble is he can't focus long enough to read a doc, a pdf or an epub.
Coul read it to him help? Are there any Siri-esque virtual assistants or app that could help?
