How should I go about getting a ranger job with no experience or correct education?

Post Body

I'm contemplating becoming a ranger. The only reason for this is I love nature. I am not trained in this field and have no experience. Is it even worth a chance of me getting in when there are so many qualified candidates? Oh yeah, and I'm almost 59.

Thanks for the information.

Does disability give preference? I hadn't heard about that. I was terrified that disclosing that on my application for jobs this season (my first) would make them not want to hire me.
