Visiting Utah for a week in early Feb, staying a bit south and skiing at Brighton but I'm planning a snowmobile day at PC Peaks the Saturday of my trip so I'd like to check out park city on my way there and back and I'm trying to figure out how much time to give myself after picking up my Turo car.
Snowmobile tour is from 2p-5p and they ask you arrive 45mins prior, it's a 1 hr drive from pickup location without PC stop and obv weather dependant. I'd like to check out Olympic park and I guess it's like main street or the historic district that would be a nice walk? Obviously Olympic park would have to be during the day cause they close at 6 but wondering if I'd be fine checking out the actual city at night since I prob wouldn't be getting back by PC till 6ish. Any other recs for what to check out day vs Night? Besides bars, I don't really drink but a good steak after snowmobiling doesn't sound too bad
Only reason I'm not trying to go super early is because I'm only renting the car for 1 day since I'm taking a sunset tour out to antelope island Sunday afternoon at 2p so trying to plan the car drop off without having to kill to much time before the pickup for that tour. I'm thinking like 10am, that would give me a good hour at Olympic park then even like 30 minutes to drive through the town and at least see it during the day, then I could come back after and walk main street/historic district and get dinner. Then I'd only have a couple hours to kill Sunday between car drop off and tour pickup which I'm sure wouldn't be an issue.
If anyone thinks I'd benefit more by going even earlier like 9am pickup plz let me know, I have no one to trip plan with so it helps writing it all out and getting some local feedback lol
